About Omid
Ever since I was little, I've always been a strange mix of analytical and experiential. While I loved the technical side of being a musician for 16 years, I also loved the experience of being part of a group and creating something beautiful with others. I've also always been active; learning how to ride a bike early, rollerblading back when it was cool (and continuing to when it wasn't), and climbing anything I could put my hands on.
While I was studying at CSU Chico, I discovered the gym environment, and instantly became hooked. By the time I graduated with my Bachelors in Psychology, I was consuming everything I could about the human body and teaching my friends how to improve their workouts. I decided to get certified as a personal trainer, and the opportunity opened up to move to Los Angeles and do what I love full time.
After working in a corporately owned gym for 3 years, learning a ton about the industry, I decided to freelance and combine my psychology background with my fitness experience to create a complete system for health and wellness. Now, I get to teach full time about mind and body, and I couldn't be happier!
